Why does everyone say "brick red dye when"

I don't understand, it's just a dye right?

foraging 50 pre update. Already was told. It is not expensive - in fact, I'm pretty sure efficient setup for this is cheapest out of all skills (apart from enchanting maybe)

Well basically let me explain the lore;

One day I woke up and decided to check the forums, and you know what I saw? I saw RilGames promoting brick red dye, with some insane information. He pointed out, that it is ONLY 1/2m, also what's even crazier, is that another word for dye is pigment, and it comes from PIGMEN. ALSO, bricks are super yummy and it's RED. How could you not love brick red dye.

So now I too support the brick red dye cult and spread their propaganda.

It's just happened so that is one of easiest dyes to obtain due to "only" 1 in 2m chance to drop. This trend is kinda overused tho, imo.

i feel like the other dyes are so rare that it gaslights people into thinking 1/2m isnt that rare

Everyone understands it's very rare, just compared to some other bs dyes it drops kinda often.
