When you’re hungry and in need of a quick meal, plan to grab a bite at one of these best quick-service restaurants at Disneyland.

Quick-service restaurants at Disneyland offer the best of both worlds when it comes to dining: Food is served fast, and you don’t need an advance dining reservation to score a table. More budget-friendly than table service restaurants and convenient for grabbing a meal any time of the day, quick-service restaurants are always available ––and even offer convenient Mobile Order options so you can grab a bite and get back to the attractions!

With over three decades of experience dining at Disneyland’s many different quick-service restaurants, I’m familiar with every possible option available, and some are notably better than others. While the menus can change over time (and so too can the food quality!), Disneyland’s quick-service dining options offer a wide range of options for every preference. Below, I’m sharing my picks for the best quick-service restaurants at Disneyland.

The Best Quick-Service Restaurants at Disneyland Park

Bengal Barbecue

Technically, Bengal Barbecue might not be considered a quick-service restaurant, but if it’s a quick, budget-friendly, and satisfying meal you’re looking for, this is where you need to head. It’s truly one of Disneyland’s best quick-service restaurants, even if it’s really a stand with a small amount of indoor seating. What started as a walk-up snack stand has now become one of the park’s hidden gems, so much so that both the stand and the menu were expanded in 2017 (that indoor seating was crucial due to the long lines that can form here!).

On the Bengal Barbecue menu, you’ll find a mix of different skewers from longtime classics like the Banyan Beef Skewer and Chieftain Chicken Skewer to newer options like the Safari Skewer made with bacon-wrapped asparagus. While the skewers are sold individually, you can easily mix and match to create a meal ––or, you can opt for the Bengal Rice Plate for bigger appetites.

While the flavors are delicious and the portions are satisfying for small snacks or mix-and-match meals, it’s also convenient. You can grab your food to go, use Mobile Order to skip the (usually long) wait, and keep moving.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

This Victorian-inspired cafe with a plethora of outdoor seating is one of the best quick-service restaurants in Disneyland from park open to park close. Although Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is a relative newcomer in the theme park since it opened its doors in 2012, it’s got a long history ––the building was previously home to the Plaza Pavilion Annual Passholder Center and the Plaza Pavilion, an opening day restaurant. Today, however, you’ll find Mary Poppins-inspired touches throughout this quick-service spot, along with a wealth of food and beverage options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

While you might think this bakery serves only pastries and snacks, don’t overlook it! Jolly Holiday is home to a whole menu of delicious meal options. From Egg Bacon Croissants and fresh-baked Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast to Smoked Turkey on Ciabatta and Beef Birria Toasted Cheese for lunch and dinner (a viral favorite!), the options are surprisingly hearty. Oh, and if it’s sweet treats or baked goods you love, Jolly Holiday is the place to head. With an always-rotating menu of seasonal sweets, you’ll find amazing macarons along with petite pies, brownies, cookies, and more.

Pro tip: If the line is long at Market House (Disneyland’s Starbucks location) and you’re looking for a latte or cappuccino, pop over to Jolly Holiday instead. Jolly Holiday makes a great coffee, and you can Mobile Order to skip the wait. However, you’ll usually find a much shorter line here compared to Market House, particularly in the morning.

Plaza Inn

While plenty of quick-service restaurants across Disneyland Resort offer delicious food, if I had to pick an absolute favorite, it’s Plaza Inn. It has everything you could want in a quick meal: Hearty portions, delicious flavors, options for picky eaters, and great value. Plus, Plaza Inn is the best quick-service restaurant at Disneyland (maybe the entire resort!) for some delicious chicken.

While the menu at Plaza Inn has options like Pot Roast, Penne with Marinara or Bolognese Sauce, and kid- and picky-eater-friendly meals, the star is undeniably the fried chicken. Featuring three crispy pieces of fried chicken, some of the best mashed potatoes ever, and a generous serving of veggies, it’s one well-rounded meal. And it’s priced at just under $20, making it a great bang for your buck dish, too.

Just note: You’ll only want to stop by Plaza Inn for lunch or dinner, not breakfast. During breakfast hours, Plaza Inn offers a character breakfast, which is quite different from its usual cafeteria-style meals.

Ronto Roasters

Head to Batuu, and you’ll find one of the best quick-service spots in Disneyland at Ronto Roasters. This Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge restaurant may have a pretty small and slimmed-down menu, but it’s a favorite of many guests (myself included!). Sure, the atmosphere is fantastic ––after all, who doesn’t want their breakfast or dinner cooked by the fire of a pod racer engine? ––but the Ronto Wraps are really what keep people coming back.

At Ronto Roasters, you’ll find three options on the menu, which change depending on the time of the day you visit: the Ronto Morning Wrap, Ronto Wrap, and Ronto-less Garden Wrap. While all of the wraps make for a decent meal, it’s the Ronto Morning Wrap and the Ronto-less Garden Wrap that are well worth the trek to Batuu.

The Ronto-less Garden Wrap is an especially great pick for those who prefer to eat plant-based. While a lot of plant-based alternatives or dishes at quick-service restaurants in the theme parks can be a bit bland or a less-than-stellar dupe of another meat-based main, this wrap is a standout. It’s fresh and satisfying both in serving size and its bright, slightly spicy taste.

The Best Quick-Service Restaurants at Disney California Adventure Park

Award Wieners

When you’re craving a hot dog, you’ve got to visit Award Wieners at California Adventure. This top quick-service spot is always a winner, thanks to its classic all-beef hot dogs made simple, traditional, or totally covered in toppings. Sure, you can grab an All-Beef Hot Dog with nothing but ketchup or mustard, but why not try an elevated Bacon Street Dog, which features a hot dog topped with red pepper ketchup, grilled onions and bell peppers, and crispy bacon crumbles.

The real star of the show at Award Wieners, and what makes this one of the best quick-service restaurants in California Adventure, are the fries. There are two types of fries: your classic fried potatoes and funnel cake fries. Both come fully loaded, with toppings that make them go above and beyond. The Asada Fries are a favorite menu staple, topped with carne asada, cheddar cheese, cilantro, onions, and both salsa and guacamole.

The funnel cake fries, which change seasonally, are strips of traditional funnel cake turned into “fries” and loaded up with sweet toppings. For example, the Peaches and Cream Funnel Cake Fries are topped with peach compete, granola, whipped cream, and cinnamon sugar. If you’re a churro fan, these fries will really win you over!

Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill

Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill may have gotten a refresh and facelift in 2023 thanks to the Pacific Wharf reimagining that moved this longtime quick-service restaurant into California Adventure’s San Fransokyo Square, but it’s still the same Mexican cuisine ––and it’s still home to the beloved QuesaBirria.

The QuesaBirria Tacos from Cocina Cucamonga are as good as you’ve seen on social media, as they’re savory, cheesy, and perfectly saucy when dipped into the included consomme and salsa. But this isn’t the only satisfying and flavor-rich dish on the menu here. What makes Cocina Cucamonga one California Adventure’s best quick-service locations is the consistently great selection of tacos, from carne asada to pollo asado. Plus, the side dishes (which include classic rice and beans as well as a San Fransokyo-inspired spin on street corn) are standouts too.

Pro tip: If you’re someone with special dietary concerns or considerations, Cocina Cucamonga is a great place to dine! There are gluten-free options as well as plenty of choices for those with allergies to dairy, eggs, fish/shellfish, peanuts and tree nuts, sesame, and soy.

Flo’s V-8 Cafe

Is there anything more appropriate on Route 66 in Cars Land than a diner that serves up classic American comfort food? Flo’s V-8 Cafe is a standout quick-service restaurant because it’s both incredibly well-themed ––you’ll feel like you’ve stepped right into a scene from Cars when you visit ––and has a menu full of options that guests of every age will enjoy.

Because Flo’s is all about comfort and classics, you’ll find simple and straightforward picks like the Ka-Cheeseburger, Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken, and Ramone’s Low and Slow Club. Best of all, just like a traditional roadside diner, Flo’s is also home to thick milkshakes that make the perfect treat, especially on a hot day.

If you have picky eaters in your party, this is a reliable quick-service option with everything from chicken tenders to mac and cheese. While its quality may not be the best of the bunch, it’s easy to feed little ones here.

Smokejumpers Grill

If it’s a good burger you’re looking for from a Disneyland quick-service restaurant, head to Smokejumpers Grill. While this California Adventure staple serves typical fast food fare ––you’ll find multiple types of burgers, sandwiches, chicken tenders, and fries on the menu ––it’s elevated, both in flavors and in the rotating menu of seasonal offerings.

The burgers at Smokejumpers Grill, which are all made with two patties, are covered in fresh toppings and a healthy slathering of sauce. There’s always something spicy on the menu, too, with options like the Spicy Chicken Sandwich or Chipotle BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger. The sides, which are crispy crinkle-cut fries and onion rings, are some of the best in all of Disneyland Resort (trust me, you can’t skip these fries when hot!).

As an added perk, you’ll find plenty of fun seasonal drinks throughout the year added to the Smokejumpers menu. The options are always changing, and it’s a great way to indulge in something festive for whatever time of the year you’re visiting ––the Halloween offerings are particularly frighteningly fun. Plus, this is one of the best quick-service restaurants for shaded, spacious outdoor seating.

The Best Quick-Service Restaurants at Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Resort Hotels

GCH Craftsman Grill

In my opinion, GCH Craftsman Grill isn’t really a quick-service restaurant ––service is certainly quick and efficient, but this is definitely a dining spot that bridges that gap between table service and a speedy meal. Located right next to the pool at , it’s home to both a restaurant and a bar.

What makes the GCH Craftsman Grill a standout is its sizable portions and varied menu. With fare that’s a bit more upscale than your average quick-service restaurant at Disneyland, adults will enjoy the elevated options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Almost everything is shareable since the portions are solid, though you can easily enjoy them as individual entrees, too.

Don’t miss out on the stacked Baked Nachos, which can easily feed a whole table! Pretty much everything on the menu is a hit, especially if you’re in the mood for pizza (I’ve tried each one, and it’s hard to pick a favorite!). For breakfast, the offerings have all of the key bases covered, from a hearty Breakfast Burrito to a Smoked Salmon Bagel Sandwich to Avocado Toast on Sourdough.

Earl of Sandwich

Earl of Sandwich has a long, complicated history at Disneyland Resort. The restaurant has closed twice since its opening in November 2012, and it was originally due to close permanently when it first shuttered in 2018. However, it reopened ––and closed again, then reopened yet again in a new location, right near Disneyland’s ticket booths. This time, when Earl of Sandwich returned, it became both a quick-service and table-service restaurant.

You can choose to have a sit-down meal at Earl of Sandwich Tavern, but my favorite version is the classic quick-service Earl of Sandwich. You can pop into the restaurant on your way to or from the parks or Downtown Disney, place your order, and have a delicious sandwich ready in mere minutes. It’s quick, it’s efficient, and the food is good.

But what really makes Earl of Sandwich one of the best quick-service restaurants in Downtown Disney are the restaurant’s famous sandwiches. Full of meats, veggies, cheese, and other toppings, they’re so well-stacked they feel like bricks in their compact wrappers. They’re great for a filling meal on the go (or, if you’re anything like me, a meal you can bring home from the parks as you head to the tram!).

Quick-Service Dining Honorable Mentions

While the above restaurants are the best quick-service restaurants across Disneyland Resort, there are a few others that deserve a mention. Their menus aren’t as extensive as the others listed here, but they serve specific purposes and suit specific tastes quite well. They’re worth a visit when you’re in the mood for a snack, a classic Disneyland bite, or a drink.

Disneyland: Little Red Wagon

Disneyland’s Little Red Wagon may not be a traditional quick-service restaurant, but it’s an absolute must-visit both for anyone who loves old-school Disneyland and a good corn dog. Featuring a short menu centered around hand-dipped corn dogs, Little Red Wagon serves a perfectly cooked corn dog with some creative condiments ––seriously, one of the best bites around!

California Adventure: Sonoma Terrace

California Adventure is the park to visit if you’re looking for a great drink, especially since California wines are celebrated year-round in the park. If you’re doing an adults-only Disneyland day or a date night, don’t skip Sonoma Terrace. This quick-service “lounge” features a menu of co*cktails, draft beer, and wine with some standout picks. Plus, the menu is always changing to include new seasonal drinks and snacks ––including special items just for festivals like and Lunar New Year.

Downtown Disney: Salt & Straw

Make sure to stop by Salt & Straw when you’re wandering through Downtown Disney, especially if you’re craving something sweet. It’s a must-try for anyone who loves ice cream, with a rotating menu of seasonally-inspired flavors. Salt & Straw is known for introducing new flavors monthly, with creative combinations of locally-sourced ingredients like Honey Lavender and Cinnamon Snickerdoodle.
