Dark Nebula Organization (2024)

The Dark Nebula are the secondary antagonists of the Beyblade Metal Saga. In Beyblade: Metal Fusion, they are a group led by Doji that wants to use the Dark power of Lightning L-Drago to take over the world. It is later revealed in Beyblade: Metal Masters and Beyblade: Metal Fury that the Dark Nebula is an off-shoot of Hades Inc., an organization dedicated to reviving of the God of Destruction Nemesis.

In Beyblade: Shogun Steel, the organization DNA appears as a rival organization to the WBBA. Led by Argo Garcia and his family, DNA sought to empower evil-minded duelists with the "Evil Gene". Unbeknownst to the Garcias, DNA stood for Dark Nebula Again and was secretly controlled by Doji who had circumvented death by transferring his soul into artificial intelligence.

Biography[]

Beyblade: Metal Fusion[]

As a part of their master plan to revive the God of Destruction Nemesis, Hades Inc. formed the Dark Nebula Organization and placed Doji as its leader. At some point, Doji recruited a boy named Ryuga and the two plotted to acquire Lightning L-Drago, the forbidden bey that possessed a dark power. They attemped to steal it from Koma Village but were stopped by Ryo Hagane (Gingka's dad). Unfortunately, Ryo failed to stop L-Drago and was presumably killed which made Gingka swear vengeance against the organization.

Ryuga's energy was drained by using L-Drago so he was put in stasis. In the meantime, Doji expanded the organization by recruiting many bladers as foot soldiers and enforcers. Among these bladers are the Sodo twins, the Kumade brothers, and a boy named Reiji Mizuchi who came to be known as the organizations' number 2 duelist behind Ryuga. At the start of the series, he recruits Kyoya Tategame into the organization by offering him the power to defeat his rival Gingka Hagane. After Kyoya is defeated, Doji betrays him and finally reveals himself to Gingka. Shortly after, Gingka and his allies storm Doji's stronghold just as Ryuga is awakened from stasis. Ryuga swiftly defeats Gingka and then orders Doji to begin preparations for the Battle Bladers tournament.

Ryuga and Doji begin recruiting bladers to represent the Dark Nebula in the tournament. They first recruit Yu Tendo, a mysterious boy who becomes their "Number 2 blader". Yu later recruits Tetsuya Wataragani while Ryuga recruits Tobio Oike and Ryutaro f*ckami. After infiltrating the Dark Nebula's headquarters, Tsubasa Otori proves himself by defeating Kumade and joins the organization, though not without suspicion. When Tsubasa's espionage on behalf of the WBBA is revealed, he is confronted by Doji, Yu, and several Dark Nebula bladers. He defeats the Dark Nebula bladers but is saved from Ryuga by Phoenix. During the tournament, most of the Dark Nebula duelists are defeated in the first round with the exception of Ryuga, Reiji, and Ryutaro. The others are then sacrificed to Ryuga who absorbs their Beys' power. A shaken Yu is then forced to battle Reiji, narrowly escapes, and defects to join Gingka. During the second round, Gingka defeats Ryutaro but Ryuga defeats Tsubasa while Reiji defeats Kenta. During the semi-final round, Doji holds Yu hostage while confronting. Phoenix, Kenta, and Hyoma. Gingka defeats Reiji and Phoenix defeats Doji. A battered Doji later meets Ryuga who swiftly absorbs his remaining power. Ryuga defeats and absorbs Kyoya's powers during their semi-final match. During the final round, Ryuga becomes fully possessed by the Dark Power while battling Gingka. Despite this, Gingka is ultimately able to defeat Ryuga and frees him from L-Drago's grip. Ryuga abandons the organization and leaves to find his new purpose. The souls of the fallen Dark Nebula bladers are restored and all of them, with the exception of Reiji and Doji, become allies to Gingka. With the end of Battle Bladers, the Dark Nebula is dissolved.

Beyblade: Metal Masters[]

When Ryuga is captured by Hades Inc., Dr. Ziggurat reveals that he was the benefactor behind Doji and Dark Nebula, lamenting how Ryuga was unable to control the Dark Power. Seeking revenge on those who manipulated him, Ryuga begrudgingly aids Team GanGanGalaxy during their championship match against Team Star Breaker. He later destroys the Spiral Core of Hades City, thereby putting an end to Dr. Ziggurat's schemes.

Beyblade: Metal Fury[]

Doji, having survived his battle with Ryuga, finds Rago and the Nemesis Bladers. He brings them to Pluto just as Gingka's allies arrive. Doji reveals himself to be an agent of Nemesis, explaining how the actions of both the Dark Nebula and Hades Inc. were parts of their goal to revive the God of Destruction. Doji accompanies Rago and Pluto to the Kingdom of King Hades where they are confronted by Ryuga. After a long battle, Rago uses Nemesis' special duel to defeat Ryuga and causes an explosion that sends Doji falling into the water below the kingdom.
