Whoever created this Netflix series must have had a real hard on for Florida. There are no more guns in Florida than there are in any other State. The weather is beautiful. The State is so clean. Everything here looks like it was built yesterday. Everyone retires to Florida because it's such an enjoyable place to live.

To portray Florida as a hell hole, when in fact most of the scenes were filmed in North Carolina, is a slap in the face of Floridians. As far as the series itself, the storyline is stupid and impossible to follow. I watched it only because it was allegedly about Florida, and I am a resident of Florida.

Abbey Lee, wearing a shirt with Flamingos on it, was actually wearing a shirt with the Florida Lottery logo. The show may have some legal liability there.

If you don't make a wealthy income in Florida then more than likely the area is a dump. I've lived in Florida most of my life and in a lot of different parts. I can't admit to even one of them not being a crap town full of drugs, homeless panhandlers, dirty cops, and not much worth doing there.

Born and raised in Florida, and I find this show hilarious with gun puns. NSB is the beach I go to, it was cool seeing a few scenes at Flagler, Breakers. Too bad more wasn’t shot here. I’m at episode 5, very entertaining!

I grew up in south beach NSB in the 1960s. I've only seen two short scenes (B roll) that were filmed where the city of Coronado Beach used to be. Coronado was annexed by New Smyrna Beach long ago. Too bad they didn't actually film here as it's truly a beautiful area and looks virtually nothing like where they DID film.

I also am a resident of Florida, for over fifty years. Florida is a wonderful place to live and Life is what you make it no matter what state you live in. The producers of this show did a great job as it is a comedy and entertaining.

I watched the show and the show did not portray Florida as a sh*t hole. Anyway, if the above people who are criticizing The show's producers saying they portrayed the State of Florida above, didn't bother to read the show's title. The title says, Florida Man. It doesn't say anything about the State of Florida. So, chill out and enjoy the show.
